Contract to demolish the existing concrete trout rearing raceways and construct new concrete raceways, as well as new water conditioning facilities, and install new underground piping systems. A total of 950 cubic yards of concrete will be placed. All work requires special attention to the necessity of performing the tasks in an environmentally sensitive manner.
Construction of a new 6.0 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant for the City of Laramie, Wyoming. The project includes building the following: a grit basin, grit building, oxidation ditches, blower building, secondary clarifiers, RAS pump station, ultraviolet disinfection channels and building, aerobic digestors, maintenance building, septage receiving tank, effluent junction structure, meter vaults, valve vaults, and all associated yard piping, site work, electrical instrumentation, and mechanical work. Additionally, the project includes modifications to the existing laboratory and control building as well as the existing blower building.
Work involves the installation of equipment previously purchased by the Owner, including a self-cleaning influent filter/screen equipped with a screenings compactor and washer, vortex grit removal equipment with grit pumping, classifying, and dewatering systems, two trickling filter rotating distributors, two circular primary clarifier units, and ultraviolet (UV) disinfection equipment. The work also entails concrete modifications to an existing Headworks building and channels to accommodate the new equipment, the construction of new channels and a new grit basin, as well as alterations to an existing chlorine contact basin to facilitate the UV disinfection equipment and a new metal building. Additionally, the work encompasses the furnishing and installation of a new SCADA system, an engine-generator, and various other enhancements to the plant.
Installation of approximately 6,000 linear feet of PVC and ductile iron pipe ranging from 6 inches to 18 inches in diameter. Construction of two pump stations (2.5 MGD), including vacuum degassing units. Piping and concrete installation of three low-head oxygenators and two drum filters. Furnish and erect several pre-engineered buildings, including one measuring 32 feet by 44 feet, one at 150 feet by 24 feet, two at 64 feet by 20 feet, two at 75 feet by 28 feet, and one at 50 feet by 28 feet. Installation of helical piers to support the pre-engineered buildings, along with twenty-four 20-foot diameter fiberglass reinforced plastic circular raceways. Construction of a concrete brood pond measuring 150 feet long by 16 feet wide, site dewatering, earthwork, and electrical work.
Demolition of existing concrete water control structures, furnish and install galvanized steel sheet piling, earthwork & riprap, reinforced concrete, install canal gates, sluice gates, & weir gate. Furnish and install trashracks, PVC and steel piping, walkway bridge & handrail. 45,000 s.f. of HDPE liner installed..
Install a 0.4 MGD Membrane Bioreactor System with Sludge Thickening and Aerobic Digester Systems. Plant work included reinforced concrete basins, mechanical bar screen pre-treatment, submersible mechanical mixers, submersible pumps, membrane filters, UV disinfection equipment, positive placement blowers, course & fine bubble diffusers, rotary lobe pumps, pipe & fittings, electrical, controls & related components. Total contract price includes the cost of owner furnished equipment.
Construction of new 2.5 MGD headworks and flow equalization facilities, sub surface concrete structures, step screens, submersible pumps, valves, piping, & masonry building; new aeration facilities, rotary blowers, air piping, wastewater piping, valves, fine bubble diffusers, and coarse bubble diffusers; rapid sand filters, with sub surface concrete clear well & masonry building; ionization type odor control equipment; electrical & control facilities; site piping, PVC gravity sewer, ductile iron pressure and gravity sewer, ductile iron and HDPE water lines, and valves; and related components.

Excavation, layout, and concrete forming/placing, Based on satisfaction with original contract, the need to carefully coordinate new concrete supports for a rapid turn-key tank installation, and satisfactory pricing, Wynnewood Refining Co. awarded five additional purchase orders for work of a similar nature.
Demolition and removal of existing Wastewater Treatment Plant for a private guest ranch located at 8,500’ elevation. Installation of new system including gravity mains and service laterals, manholes, a 22,000 gallon, one piece, underground fiberglass holding tank, force main, and one acre leach field. Project required dewatering wells for 17’ deep tank excavation.
Rehabilitate the existing lagoons, replacing the existing lift station with a new above ground wet well mounted lift station, and replacing the discharge structure. Deep wells used for dewatering the site.
Demolition and replacement of a concrete intake structure located in the river. Construction of a new water treatment plant, which includes site piping, concrete foundations and slabs, a pre-engineered metal building, and the installation of $650,000 worth of owner-supplied equipment. This equipment includes a Memcor package water treatment system, along with associated piping, tanks, pumps, strainers, controls, HVAC, and electrical systems. Demolition of existing water treatment equipment will also take place.
